Introducing the Monday Brief

Tollcast is, at its core, two parts. There's the drafts: an always-on agent that reads every mention, decides whether it deserves a reply, and writes one in your voice. Then there's the second thing that came up on every beta call we ran: 'what actually happened last week, and who's been holding the conversation for me?'

The Monday Brief is the answer to that second half. Every Monday at 8am local, a one-page brief lands in your inbox — what answered, what held back and why, top mentioners, audience mood as it reads across the threads, and three posting slots for the week ahead. When we get those slots right, they look like where the audience was already going to be.

It's the part that turns Tollcast from 'an always-on agent' into 'a tool you set your week against.' If you've ever opened up X, Threads, LinkedIn or your YouTube tab on a Saturday morning and felt the queue had been moving without you — the brief is the file that lets you run that week on purpose. Nothing ships from the brief by default; you skim, you mark what you want aired, the tool lifts it into the next queue.

There's nothing novel about a weekly digest in this space, but most digests only tell you what happened. The Monday Brief tells you what to do about it next — the alpha isn't the data, it's the recommendation. That's the loop Tollcast was always going to be built around. It just took us five months of beta to write it down like this.
